Everything a booking system should do

Deep where it matters. Simple where it counts.

GrabTheSlot covers the whole booking loop: the page your clients book on, the reminders that keep them showing up, and the calendar that keeps your day conflict-free.

─── The three booking models ───

Pick a model, see how it flows.

Appointments that book themselves

A client opens your page, picks a service, a staff member and a free slot — done. Conflict protection keeps double-bookings out, reminders keep no-shows down, and the self-service links keep your phone quiet.

  • Parallel staff calendars
  • Service durations, prices and buffers
  • One-click cancel & reschedule for clients
─── Feature by feature ───

The full toolkit.

Booking page & QR

Every business gets its own branded booking page on its own subdomain — your logo, your colours, your services. A print-ready QR code opens the page instantly, so a sticker at the counter or in the shop window becomes a booking channel.

Staff & permissions

Each staff member has their own calendar, services and working hours. Role-based access keeps owners, staff and delegated managers apart — a colleague sees and manages their own bookings, not your whole business.

Reminders — email & SMS

Automatic email confirmations and reminders are part of the base plan; SMS reminders are an add-on with credit-based sending. Every message carries one-click cancel and reschedule links, which is what actually reduces silent no-shows.

Events with QR check-in

Group sessions with capacity limits, waitlists and automatic closing. Each booking can carry a QR entry ticket, and the built-in scanner page turns any phone into a door check-in device.

Resources — courts & rooms

Clients book a unit instead of a person: a court, a studio, a meeting room, a piece of equipment. You define the units and time windows; the calendar enforces the rest, around the clock.

Widget embed

Already have a website? Embed the booking flow as an inline frame or a floating button. Your site keeps its design, and every booking lands in the same calendar with the same reminders.

Recall & reviews

Recall campaigns automatically write to clients who haven’t booked for 30, 60 or 90 days. Review requests go out after the appointment and route happy clients to your Google profile — while critical feedback comes to you first.

GDPR & EU data residency

The database runs on Supabase in Frankfurt and the servers at Hetzner in Germany. A GDPR privacy policy and a data processing agreement (DPA) are part of the service — not a paid enterprise extra.

─── Feature FAQ ───

Common questions.

What is included in the base plan and what is an add-on?
The base plan (€10/month) covers the Services booking model, unlimited bookings, your branded page, email notifications and one staff member. Events, Resources, SMS reminders, the website widget and the other capabilities are optional add-ons with their own monthly prices.
Do my clients need an app or an account?
No. The booking page is a normal website — clients book with their name and contact details, get an email confirmation, and manage their booking from links in that email.
Can I use all three booking models at once?
Yes. The models combine freely in one account — a massage studio can sell appointments (Services), rent its treatment room (Resources) and run a monthly workshop (Events) from the same calendar.
How do staff permissions work?
There are separate roles for owners, staff members and delegated managers. Staff see and manage their own calendar; delegated users can be given access to a specific booking model’s admin without owning the whole account.
Does the widget slow my website down?
The widget loads as an isolated embed (iframe or floating button) after your page renders, so your site’s own speed stays untouched.
Where does my data live?
In the EU: database and authentication on Supabase (Frankfurt), servers at Hetzner (Germany). GDPR compliance and a DPA are part of the service.
