Terms of Service
Draft — subject to legal review before launch
1. The service
GrabTheSlot is a white-label online appointment booking platform operated by Mészáros János, sole proprietor (Hungary, EU; the Provider). Subscribers receive their own branded booking page, an administration interface and the booking models and add-ons they switch on.
These terms apply to the business customers (Subscribers) of the platform. End-customers who book appointments are customers of the Subscriber, not of the Provider.
2. Trial and subscription
- The free trial lasts 14 days with full functionality and requires no payment method. There is no automatic charge at the end of the trial.
- The subscription consists of a base plan (from €10/month) and optional add-ons, billed monthly.
- Prices and the current add-on catalogue are published on the pricing page; the binding price is always shown at checkout.
3. Payments and invoicing
Card payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record: Paddle collects the subscription fee and issues the invoice in its own name. Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction. VAT is calculated at checkout based on country and VAT status.
4. Cancellation
- The subscription can be cancelled at any time in the admin panel, with no notice period and no cancellation fee.
- The account remains active until the end of the already-paid billing cycle.
- After cancellation, account data is retained for a limited period to allow reactivation, then deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
- The service may only be used for lawful booking-related purposes.
- The Subscriber is responsible for the content it publishes on its booking page and for its own compliance towards its end-customers (including consumer and data protection rules).
- Abuse — including spam, attempts to breach security, or unlawful content — may lead to suspension or termination.
6. Data protection
The Provider processes the Subscriber's end-customer data as a data processor under the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms an integral part of these terms. Details of the Provider's own data processing are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
- The Provider operates the service with reasonable care on EU infrastructure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
- Features may evolve; materially detrimental changes to a paid subscription are announced in advance.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Provider's liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Provider is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or for the relationship between the Subscriber and its end-customers.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law and applicable EU law. Mandatory consumer protections of the Subscriber's country of residence remain unaffected where they apply.
